Build Tutorial
Building the wirescanner is easy:
first solder all SMT parts (from the SMT parts bag), for ICs and diode make sure you observe the correct polarity, i.e. align IC package markers/dots with the respective silkscreen markers
then solder the micromatch headers from the THT connectors bag
then solder the four 8x8 matrix LEDs, align LED case labels with PCB silkscreen label text
finally solder all remaining THT connectors (from the THT connectors bag), making sure you align the IDC connectors with the PCB silkscreen outlines
You can solder the parts contained in the kit in any order, but we recommend to start with the "flattest" parts and solder the parts with the largest height in the end.
Important - 8x8 LED matrices alignment:
Align the text printed on the 8x8 LED matrix cases with the silkscreen labels "Matrix1" to "Matrix4"
